I think this is a good time to teach the child about how to VISUALIZE its immune system.  I did this by describing the phagocytes as creatures which engulf even smaller creatures,  as the soldiers in his body which receive their orders from his/her brain, the General, so that if the invader looks like taking hold, the General should issue orders to increase the number of soldiers in the area.

An  acute viral disease with mild symptoms and a skin eruption called varicella.  It usually begins with a slight fever, at which time you would give a cup of warm lemon and honey drink with a tincture or a herbal tea to reduce the fever.  Other natural remedies here would be AROMATHERAPY.      headache, backache, and other physical aches & pains maybe delt with using lemon balm, oats, lime blossom, valerian, again here see the PAIN FORMULA formula as there are too many to list here. Small red spots appear on the back and chest first, but other "crops" may appear on the arms, legs and face.  The spots fill up with a clear fluid and a blister forms.  After a day or two the fluid turns yellow and a crust or scab forms.

BURDOCK, GOLDEN SEAL, YELLOW DOCK, PEPPERMINT, CAMOMILE  

 

AFTER BATHING, DRY     AREA WELL PAT AREA WITH A LITTLE     ARROWROOT.  ALOE VERA GEL MAY REDUCE THE ITCH.

 

GINGER BATH MAYBE HELPFUL

 

TO SPEED THE BLISTER CYCLE UP APPLY SWEDISH BITTERS TO THE AREA

 

HONEY SHOULD BE ADDED TO DRINKS, ALSO HOT LEMON AND HONEY    DRINKS  AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE (2 HOURLY)

 

GARLIC taken either raw or capsule, tablet or KYOLIC JUICE

 

EUCALYPTUS-  AS AN INFUSION.  BOIL 30g OF EUCALYPTUS LEAVES IN 1 LITRE OF WATER. COVER FOR 10 MINUTES, STRAIN, COOL AND GIVE 1 TEASPOONFUL THREE TIMES DAILY.

 

NUTRITION

Fevers increase the bodies need for calories, vitamins A and C.  Extra protein is needed for repair of tissues.

Raw fruit and vegetable juices are recommended,  fresh orange and lemon juice with honey.

Daily intake of 600ml fresh CARROT JUICE, mixed with 150ml of WATERCRESS JUICE to prevent dehydration.

Or if your child has a poor appetite or refuses to eat anything nutritious, as many of them do,

During convalescence, a modest wholefood diet is beneficial.

AVOCADO is beneficial to the NERVOUS SYSTEM.

BLACKCURRANT is beneficial if BOWELS ARE LOOSE, also high nutrient levels especially Vit A & C aid recovery, and also aids blood, immunity, blood oxygenation and purifying. 

 

MELONS  -  CANTALOUPE (ROCKMELON), WATERMELON, CUCUMBER, USED FOR FEVERS WITH                                                   CONSTIPATION.

 

AROMATHERAPY -           FOR FEVER & ITCH  -
